Silverberg Opticians are one of the Northwest's premier fashion practises. Centrally located for both the Commercial and Business districts at the heart of Liverpool.

Founded above a chemist shop, Silverberg Opticians have been keeping the optically challenged in the latest frames and designer styles since 1957.

An elite practise, as categorised by major optical supplier Luxottica, the high-end service is the only of its kind in the Capital of Culture.

The previous owners of the 6 Merseyside-wide practises, the family business has consolidated its expertise into one exclusive celebrity haunt in the form of their city centre Whitechapel offering.

Situated in the heart of Liverpool for the past 25 years and open 5 years ago at the site in whitechapel the extensive property specialises in unusual and niche brands of spectacles and sunwear, housing the lines of Christian Dior, Prada, Bvlgari, Rayban, Philip Starck, Alain Mikli, Roberto Cavalli. Unsurprisingly, the practise has acquired a loyal fan base among Liverpool's pop-stars and Premier League players and their wives, as well as fitting the frames of Elvis Costello and Sir Ben Kingsley.

A guest at Paris' haute couture Chanel show, Silverberg Opticians is also recognised as one of the top 10 suppliers of the brand within the UK. New homemade ranges by Tom Davies, Tiffany & Co. and Emilio Pucci will be lining the shelves of the fashion practise in 2008, with the latter being designer ranges available offer an additional level of exclusivity through the numerous limited edition provided by the practises elite status, the practise being 1 of 80 out of 8,000 to earn the accolade and the only holder in Liverpool.

With over 2,000 frames and around 1,200 pairs of sunglasses in store, prices range from £35 to as much as £4,500 for the more limited styles, which incorporate precious metals and diamond encrusting an in-house laboratory offers patients rapid assembly for their prescription purchases.

Every type of contact lens, including the daily and monthly disposables, colours, tinted and revolutionary multi-focal lenses are also available in store.
